For the period of Berlin gallery weekend 2018 and the second time in its history the 6000 square meter studio spaces of Lehderstrasse 34 will host an incredibly diverse exhibition of paintings, sculpture, multi media, installation, film and photography, in which artists invite other artists to exhibit in the context of this studio environment, thus returning the viewer to the very place of art’s genesis.

Zeitgleich zum Berliner Gallery Weekend 2018 wird zum zweiten Mal nach 2015 das 6.000 Quadratmeter große Ateliergelände in Berlin-Weißensee zum Schauplatz einer medienübergreifenden Gruppenausstellung zeitgenössischer Kunst. Das Aufeinanderprallen vieler individueller künstlerischer Energien ist die Grundlage der Ausstellung. Die Auswahl der Künstler erfolgt nicht nach üblichen kuratorischen Parametern wie konzeptionellen, diskursgetriebenen oder formalen Klammern, sondern intuitiv. Künstler laden Künstler ein.

The new students of Prof. Valérie Favres class (UdK) present a new sensual-performative-event together. On the 300 m² exhibition area the students agree on an artistic discussion with the place and question of aesthetic differences as well as similarities of their own perception habits. The presented work revolves around ambivalences of urban romance and urban arches.
